We urgently require a ‘Building Maintenance Surveyor’ for an immediate start on a long term contract based in North London
Our client, a large local authority is urgently looking for a candidate with relevant experience in:
- Initiate orders & manage procurement of materials & services.
- Conducting inspections during & upon completion of works.
- Producing job specifications for maintenance works
- Managing customer complaints for outstanding works
Additional responsibilities include, clearing maintenance backlogs, deputising for the Senior Maintenance Manager Good organisational & communication skills must be demonstrated for this position.
The post holder will be required to facilitate technical support & a back office role to manage the associated contractors.
An understanding of Health & Safety, CDM would be beneficial for this role
Qualifications such as a HNC or equivalent would be considered as highly advantageous. Perspective candidates must have own Transport and a minimum of 5 yrs experience in a similar position.
