A local authority currently have the position of a “Building Control Surveyor” to start as soon as possible.
The candidate must have experience with implementation and enforcement of building regulations and will be responsible to the Senior and District building control surveyor. The candidate must also have:
- Membership of RICS (Royal institute of Chartered Surveyors)
- ABEng (Association of Building Engineers)
- Building Control experience
- Experience advising Environmental Health Officers
- Knowledge of the Building Act 1984
Candidate should require good communication and organisational skills along with professionalism and effective people management.
