This is an excellent opportunity to work for a major player in the Utility Industry. The post is specifically aimed at technical and professional engineers who wish to gain experience maintaining and developing HV and LV electrical distribution systems. The post holder will manage and control a budget in excess of £1 million.

 

Past experience of delivering projects on time within budget will be required. Knowledge of 33/11kv distribution systems & airport operational procedures would be regarded as advantageous, A Sound understanding of H&S and CDM regulations would also be required. Experience within the Protection field is a must as duties will include producing specifications for protection studies & implementing commissioning activities.

 

Key skills required:

 

·           Power Engineering Technical Qualification;

·           Design & Operational Experience Of 33/11kv Distribution & Protection Systems

·           Management Of Small Project Teams

·           Preparation Of Estimates & Approval Of Tender Documents

·           Quality Inspections & Witnessing Of New Plant Installations

·           Approval Of Protection Schemes

·           Providing Technical Support  For Engineering Solutions

 

The Job holder will ultimately manage projects from inception through to completion.
